1. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to provide the Frequency Memory service:

  • Account information: Email address and authentication credentials when you register.
  • Memory data: The content you store through MCP methods (freq_memory_store, freq_encode, etc.).
  • Usage metadata: API call counts, compression ratios, and latency metrics for billing and performance optimization.
  • Technical data: IP address, user agent, and request timestamps for security and abuse prevention.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Frequency Memory service.
  • To process your stored memories using our semantic compression engine.
  • To calculate billing based on your usage tier.
  • To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
  • To communicate service updates and respond to support requests.

We never use your stored memory content to train AI models.

3. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored on Cloudflare's global infrastructure. Memory content is stored in Cloudflare KV (key-value) and D1 (SQLite) databases, replicated across 300+ edge locations. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Each tenant's data is logically isolated using unique tenant identifiers and API keys.

4. Third Parties

We use the following third-party services:

  • Cloudflare: Infrastructure, CDN, edge compute (Workers, KV, D1, Vectorize).
  • Stripe: Payment processing for paid tiers (we never store card details).

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

  • Access your stored data.
  • Rectify inaccurate information.
  • Delete your account and all associated data.
  • Export your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Object to processing of your data.

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@frequency.dev.

6. Data Retention

We retain your memory data for as long as your account is active. When you delete a memory or your account, data is permanently removed from all edge locations within 30 days. Usage metadata is retained in anonymized form for up to 12 months for analytics purposes.
