Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Frequency Memory service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Service Description

Frequency Memory provides persistent, semantically-compressed memory storage for AI coding assistants via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The Service includes memory storage, semantic encoding/decoding, knowledge graph linking, vector search, and related APIs.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys and account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Store illegal, harmful, or abusive content.
  • Attempt to access other tenants' data or bypass security controls.
  • Overwhelm the Service with automated requests beyond your tier limits.
  • Reverse-engineer the semantic encoding algorithms for competitive purposes.
  • Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it.

5. API Usage & Rate Limits

Each pricing tier includes specific rate limits and storage quotas. Exceeding your tier limits may result in throttled requests (HTTP 429). Persistent abuse of rate limits may result in account suspension. See our pricing page for current tier limits.

6. Pricing & Billing

The Free tier is available at no cost with usage limits. Paid tiers are billed monthly or annually. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. You are responsible for all charges incurred under your account.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the content you store in Frequency. We claim no ownership over your memory data. The Frequency service, including its encoding algorithms, APIs, and documentation, is our intellectual property and protected by applicable laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your stored data will be deleted within 30 days.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on our website at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
